UNIVERSAL HOTNESS (3) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Bunbury, finishing fourth and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 7f after being prominent at the bend. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BUNDABERG (7) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third when resuming last time out over 5½f at Bunbury. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CHAMPAGNE CRUSADER (4) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Belmont Park five months ago. Backmarker who keeps coming. Top three prospects.
