REBELNADO (3) is a eight-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 4 lengths when fifth over 1m1/2f at Bunbury. Fitter and capable of taking this out. VEXATIOUS ROSE (7) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to just miss when second over 1m1/2f at Bunbury. A repeat of the latest effort will see her in the finish again. BIG KAY DOG (11) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m2 1/2f at Belmont Park after being in contention on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MACHO ARQUERO (2) is a 18-start maiden finding it tough to win but has been in the placings at his last two runs, finishing second most recently over 1m2 1/2f at Belmont Park. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Don't underestimate.
