KAZZAMATAZZ (13) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing third and beaten 3. 5 lengths over 5f at Bunbury. Likely improver who should go well. SEVEN CANDLES (4) has not raced since his debut back on December 7 when he finished seventh over 5f at Ascot. Will be better for that run. Leading contender. COUSIN MORTIMER (2) has not appeared since he finished ninth over 7f at Kalgoorlie on August 10. Now under the care of new trainer Kirsten Melis. Makes plenty of appeal. XELCIMUS (10) was in contention on the bend and finished second last start over 6f at Belmont Park, beaten one length. Fitter for that run. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
