Race Tip

CROWS (5) was an effortless maiden winner last time out over 6½f at Northam, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Chris Parnham was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Capable of making it two on the trot. KHUTOS (9) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 0.9 lengths over 1m at Northam after being prominent at the corner. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. CHAMPAGNE CRUSADER (7) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fifth at Belmont Park and beaten 2 lengths. Will find this easier than last start. Well placed and should be in the finish. ALABRAE (1) returns after a lay-off of ten weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 7½f at this track. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
