SPINHOF (2) lifted strongly to score by half a length at the most recent appearance over 6f at St Arnaud at the second run this prep. Finds the right race to make it two on the trot. ZOULAR (1) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when tenth, beaten 7 lengths, over 6½f at Penola. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. METEORITE (3) missed the frame when resuming last start over 5f at Warrnambool but wasn't all that far from the winner. Won't find this as tough. Has claims on his best form. IN THE SUN (12) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at Warrnambool over 7f after being prominent until the final stages. Can play a prominent role.
