DIAMOND RIDGE (11) ran below expectations last time after being in contention on the turn at Queanbeyan, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths starting at 13/2. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task. GLOWING RAPIDS (4) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing seventh over 5f at Dubbo. Rates highly in this line up. Gets his chance. PATRICK MAY (2) produced a reasonable run when returning from a break last start over 5½f at Gilgandra, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in eighth. Has a very strong record at this course with two wins from four starts. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Winning claims on best figures. SANTORINI SUN (7) turned in a solid run last time when boxing on to finish third at Moruya. Extra journey a plus now and can sneak in the finish at odds.
