AMLETO (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 13 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. OAK BEACH (9) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 2 lengths back in sixth over 1m at Bendigo. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. JAYKAYANN (1) resumed over 1m2f at this track last start and after showing little early speed closed hard to score by a head. Winning hope here. ARISTONOUS (6) finished second two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by a long neck over 1m2f at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
