Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. HULKSTER (3) was close to a win before a break, starting favourite at the latest appearance and finishing second at Kyneton. Has trialled two times leading into this. Good chance to open this campaign on a winning note. OVERCAST (4) wasn't far away on debut last start over 6½f at Seymour, finishing third and beaten 2. 5 lengths. Likely improver who is among the better chances. STONEAGE ROMEO (8) resumes from a lay-off of 13 months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 7f at Sale. Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at this track over 6f. Placed in a recent trial. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
