DIAMANDA (1) missed the frame last time when fourth at Yarra Valley. That followed a run of two wins on end. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Leading contender. QUBELLA (2) was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when sixth and beaten 3 lengths over 7¼f at Kilmore. Strong record with Maddison Morris aboard, including four wins. Bold showing expected. BOOKMAN (3) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 1m at Terang. Looks well placed so expect another big run. TUSSOCK (10) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1m1/4f at Swift's Creek, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
