M'LADY ROSE (7) finished 3. 5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside after being prominent at the turn when resuming from a lay-off. Tackles a longer journey this time. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Best form puts her right in this. MAN OF THE SEA (1) tackled the mile for the first time last start at Sandown-Lakeside and after looking a winning chance halfway down the straight he found a couple better. Has a high cruising speed. One of the main contenders. PULA (6) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when eighth over 7½f at Geelong after she was well back on straightening. Good enough on her day and can fill a top-three spot.
