PERSIAN SPIRIT (7) ran on strongly only to just miss as favourite last start over 7f in the LR Testa Rossa Stakes at Caulfield. Hard to beat in this suitable race. NDOLA (10) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 7f at Flemington. Luke Currie who has scored on him four times retains the mount. Bold showing expected. REGAL ZEUS (2) was an emphatic winner last time over 1m in the LR Kilmore Cup with this rider Daniel Stackhouse engaged. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. One to consider. ENXUTO (6) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m at Cranbourne, beaten just 0. 8 lengths. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
