FEELING DUSTY (4) finished sixth, beaten 2. 5 lengths, when when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 7f at Flemington. Form here strong boasting two wins from three starts. Best form puts him right in this. MACEDON ROSE (5) finished third two runs back at Ballarat then improved last time out to score by 3. 5 lengths as public elect over 1m at Seymour. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. RUSSIAN METEOR (2) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then got a long way back last start when 6 lengths away in tenth over 7f at Bendigo. Thomas Stockdale gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he can find the winners' list. FENGARADA (3) will find this a little easier after missing the frame in town last time, finishing tenth over 1m2f at Flemington. Backmarker who gets home hard. Can run on into the finish.
