BOTANICAL BOY (7) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off as favourite last start over 6f at this track. Will take a lot from that hitout. Nicely placed to go one better. EL TERCERO (5) is a distance specialist who missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Kyneton, beaten 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. HEALING FREQUENCY (12) drifted back then closed strongly to score as favourite on debut over 6f at this track two weeks ago. Sure to make her presence felt again. HAPPY TIERS (8) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 6f at Moonee Valley. One of the main contenders.
