PRESERVATOR (4) defied his big price last time when beaten just 0.7 lengths into third over 6f at Pakenham. Well placed and should be in the finish. NUTS 'N' BOLTS (1) has recently been thereabouts since scoring at Bendigo on 18/03/2025, the latest effort a fourth over 7f at this track. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove tough to beat. LAUGH WITH ME (11) turned in a fine effort to score by a nose at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Likely to be there at the finish again. APPPLEBY (10) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Werribee, finishing third and only half a length from the winner at the end of 1m. Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
