DURNESS (9) was well in commission on her debut over 7¼f at Geelong three-and-a-half weeks ago and finished ninth, beaten 4 lengths. Fitter and with the blinkers added is expected to be in the finish. TEAM HEIST (11) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Mornington over 7½f, beaten 1.2 lengths. Hasn't been far away this time in work with three minor placings from six starts. Sure to go very well. TASTE OF WINE (10) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when sixth in a 1m2 1/2f contest at Moe two weeks ago after being in contention on the turn. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DESERT ROSE (8) finished third last time over 1m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Nicely placed to go a couple better.
