PERU (1) hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Mornington over 1m a month ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Flemington. Has ability and should be right in the finish. FEELING DUSTY (4) was doing his best work late last start to get up for second over 7f120yards at Sale. Best form puts him right in this. LYGON STREET LUIGI (2) was narrowly beaten last start when second in a small field over 6f136yards at Geelong at the first run of the campaign. Will be fitter for that run, looks an each way chance. SOUTH HOBA (11) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 7f at this track last start, scoring by 1.75 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. John Allen was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Harder this time but still one to consider.
