Improvement to come and this is her chance to break through. AYE VEE AITCH (13) drifted back early on debut last start then worked home fairly to finish 3.5 lengths away in fourth at Bendigo over 6½f. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. VAN DER WOODSEN (14) turned in a moderate debut over 5f in the G3 Ottawa Stakes at Flemington on March 8 when she was safely held in 12th, 12 lengths from the winner. Plenty of scope for improvement.
