MADE THE EFFORT (9) is a 13-start maiden who has been in the money at her last couple of runs, the latest when third over 7f at this track. Nicely placed and gets her chance. LAKE VOSTOK (7) failed to threaten at her first outing last time out, finishing sixth over 6f at this track. Should appreciate the extra ground this time. Better for that experience and expected to be competitive. REACTIVATE (3) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish sixth over 6f at Cranbourne. Was outdashed but got going late and the longer journey looks ideal. Solid top-three prospects.
