PATRIOT STAR (9) is a nicely bred two-year-old filly on debut. By Deep Field from National Anthem who has produced her share of winners. Has not trialled prior to coming here. Promising type who looks set to play a major role. THE SHOWVINIST (7) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found a couple better over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic. Likely improver who should go well. ALAA PLENTY (6) resumes from a lay-off of eight months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 5f in the G3 Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Pakenham Synthetic trial. Rates highly and is a chance to break through. NEVER LET ME GO (5) finished third last time over 5f at this track when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 6 lengths. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
