SMART DEEL (7) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race when she made late ground and finished 1.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7f at Flemington. Worth noting Jaylah Kennedy goes aboard. Faces an easier assignment so she will be hard to beat. AMANI (5) scored at her most recent appearance, getting home by half a length over 7f at this track. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins from four starts. Solid top-three chance. BOB THE HORSE (1) was expected to do more last start when out of the placings over 1m at Ballarat, beaten 9 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time.
