LADY GIOVANNA (7) resumes from a lay-off of five months and is having her first outing under new trainer Dean Mirfin. Finished fourth at Newcastle over 6¼f at the opening run last time in work. Sure to prove tough to beat. MISHPAT (8) raced below her best last time when sixth over 6f190yards at Cowra, beaten 6 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. FORTIANS (1) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 5f at Dubbo. Among the better chances. FRENCH HARP (3) ran a better race when second up last time out, finishing fourth over 4¾f at Cowra. Should park just off the speed. Deserves respect on best figures.
