HARDHEAD (4) returns after four months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 6½f at this track. Placed in a recent trial. Set for a bold return. ASPEN BOULEVARD (9) finished sixth over 4½f at Wellington at her most recent appearance on September 2. Makes plenty of appeal. PATTERA (2) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 4¾f at Cowra, beaten 7 lengths into seventh. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
