AMARETTO BO (12) turned in a much better effort last start when beaten only a head into second at Newcastle over 6½f. Should be poised just off the lead. Best form puts her right in this. ANNOINT (1) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 7f at Kembla Grange. Has had the benefit of two trials leading into this. Nicely placed and expected to go well. LUNA FLIRT (9) is a seven-start maiden who finished seventh at her most recent outing over 7f at Bathurst. Worth including in this suitable contest. NIGHTWALKER (3) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m at Parkes, beaten 1.3 lengths. No surprise to see him in the mix.
