DARK VADOR (6) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Mudgee with success as favourite over 7f at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ARTIFACTX (1) broke through for his maiden win over 7f at Kembla Grange last time. Shaping up nicely and he is worth including. GRINS (5) finished 11th two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Bathurst, beaten 1.5 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. GIOVANNA STAR (7) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished second, beaten 0.6 lengths, over 6½f at Bathurst. Likely improver with bright prospects.
