PIRAEUS (4) finished third at Wyong two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m2 1/2f at Gosford, finishing 4 lengths back in sixth. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. MARSABIT (2) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when tenth, beaten 11 lengths, over 1m5f in the G2 Chairman's Quality at Randwick. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. VINCENZO (1) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1m2 1/2f at Tamworth, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to figure in the finish. ATHENA'S LAD (3) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish fourth, beaten only 1.4 lengths, over 1m1/2f at Wellington. Can make an impact again.
