KATTEGAT (1) showed good pace over 5f at Sapphire Coast last time and dug deep to score by a neck. Should be close to the speed despite the draw. Taking on a better line-up this time but he cannot be underestimated. AKAKA FALLS (3) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by 1.1 lengths over 4½f at Newcastle. SMOKESHOW (7) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Canberra, beaten 9 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
