TEJANO TWIST (4) has been kept fresh since finishing third over 6f in the G3 Whitmore Stakes at this track (Dirt) four weeks ago. Was a determined winner two starts back. Distance specialist with seven wins and 13 minor placings from 21 runs and is sure to go well. PAYNE (5) was well-fancied last time out but could only manage second over 6f eight days ago. Good effort last start and he can sneak into the finish. ANARCHIST (6) has been in the market at his last couple of starts since resuming but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing fifth over 6½f in the G3 San Simeon Stakes at Santa Anita (Turf). Can improve and is worth including.
