STHENIC (5) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 6f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CHIPOTLE PEPPER (11) was safely held last time when beaten 6 lengths into fifth at this course and distance after meeting with market support. Has a wide gate to contend with again. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Best form puts her right in this. SABRES (10) finished out of the money two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 6 lengths when fifth in a 5½f contest at Santa Anita seven weeks ago. Meets a stronger field but she is good enough to turn the recent form around. CHICA ARMA (9) finished third last time over 6f at this track (Dirt), beaten 6 lengths. Nicely placed to go a couple better.
