CHASING APHRODITE (4) was handy on straightening and went on to finish second last start over 1m2f at Ballarat, beaten a head. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. SIR KINGSFORD (3) is a last-start winner over 1m1 3/4f at Morphettville Parks, showing good early speed on the occasion and leading throughout to score by 1.1 lengths. Strong performer at this stage of the prep with two wins and one minor placings from five attempts. Expected to take some stopping again. MOTORACE (5) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a third, beaten 2 lengths, over 1m1 3/4f at Morphettville Parks. Should camp just off the leaders. Capable of testing this field. SUNSETS (1) ran a better race when second up last time out, finishing sixth over 1m2f in the G3 Easter Cup at Caulfield. Will find this much easier. Sure to be thereabouts.
