THE WAY AHEAD (10) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found a couple better over 4½f at Newcastle. Leading player with plenty of improvement in store. ROTHO BRO (6) made debut five-and-a-half months ago at Goulburn when finished in the placings and hasn't raced since. Will strip fitter for recent trials and can sneak into the finish again. COLD MIST (4) settled well back on debut last start and failed to threaten when sixth over 5f at Wyong. Likely improver who can feature in the finish.
