MAGENTA SHORES (5) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth in a 6½f contest at Hawkesbury two weeks ago. Faces an easier assignment so she is sure to be prominent. SENSATIONAL WIND (6) wound up strongly last time out to finish 0.6 lengths adrift in third over 6½f at Canberra. Settles back early but winds up late. Will be tough to stop. MILLIE DE LUNE (8) resumes from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 1m at Benalla. Tuned up with a tenth in a recent trial at Warwick Farm. Rates highly and is a chance to break through. VIA VARALLO (11) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 7½f at Goulburn. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
