MOTORBOAT (6) missed the placings on debut then improved last start but found one better over 5f at Canberra, beaten one length after being in contention on the bend. Going up a level this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. BABY DAISY (3) just missed last time when a long neck away in third at Bathurst over 5½f. Winning chance. SURE INTENTIONS (2) returns after eight months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 7f38yards at Moruya. Has trialled two times leading into this. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. SULTRY VIXEN (7) has not appeared since she finished eighth over 7f65yards at Queanbeyan on September 4. Has switched to the Gary Crossley stable. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
