Race Tip

OSCARS NO GROUCH (4) is on debut for the Graeme Ballantyne stable. Three-year-old gelding by Long Leaf and was purchased for AUD $ 5,000 (Magic Millions 2023 Perth Winter Thoroughbred Sale). Proved too good in a Lark Hill trial recently. Bold showing expected, with a betting watch advised. ROAMING AMERICA (5) is a gelding by Rommel out of Democrat who is at the races for the first time. Looks ready after placing in a recent Belmont Park trial. Should run well. I'M A SOULMAN (3) wasn't far away on debut last start over 5f at this track, finishing second and beaten 0.7 lengths. Expected to feature with improvement to come. VALANNE DAWN (6) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a eighth over 7f at Ascot. Looks up to the mark following a trial win at Lark Hill. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
