BONDI BLOSSOM (4) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 1. 2 lengths, over 7½f at this track. Will take some beating. CRATHIE KIRK (7) returned from a break last start over 6f and finished third at Port Macquarie. Having first attempt over this journey but rates one of the main hopes. THE IRON STAR (3) impressed last time when he scored by half a length over this journey at Hawkesbury on March 17. Down in the weights this time so he is one of the contenders again. SHOWTIME SHADOW (1) recorded his maiden win three back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when second at Wyong. Should be poised just off the lead. Should give backers a sight.
