IVY DIVA (5) gave away a start then stormed home to win over 6¾f at this track last time out. Will be hard to hold out again. GRASSBURN (3) is on a 10-day back-up after finishing in the money over 6f at Port Macquarie. Good effort last start and should prove tough to beat. NEW PHAROAH (1) hasn't raced since finishing 11th over 7½f at Rosehill on June 28 and has since switched yards. Looks forward enough following a trial win. Generally runs well when fresh, recording two minor placings from three runs. One of the primary contenders. ENSIGN PARKER (2) ran below expectations last time at Armidale, finishing fifth and beaten 3. 5 lengths. Yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
