LIYAH'S GIRL (6) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish second, beaten 0. 7 lengths, over 1m2f at Canberra. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. JUAN PABLO (2) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for third last start over 1m2 1/2f at Gosford, making it two minor placings in a row. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. SHADASHI (8) made progress last start when she made late ground to finish second over 1m1 1/2f at Canterbury. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. MARCANTONIO (7) turned in another moderate effort last start when 13 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m1 1/2f at Canterbury. No surprise to see him in contention.
