EMBALLEE (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was never in contention over 7½f at Rosehill, beaten 1. 75 lengths into fourth. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. TASORAAY (1) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was in contention on the bend before being beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 6½f at Randwick. Enjoys a drop in grade so he can play a big role. TULIPWOOD (9) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished eighth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Beaumont (Newcastle) then improved and scored over 6¾f at Wyong two weeks ago, getting home by 0. 8 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. SHOTGUN BELLA (10) finished second last time over 5½f at Port Macquarie, beaten a neck. Will trim down following recent racing. Likely improver with solid prospects.
