OMNIC (1) was well in the market when resuming last time out and finished fifth at Gosford over 6f. Is a winner at this circuit. Should be in the finish. AZARAX (8) won on debut over 6½f at Wyong last time out. Re-unites with jockey Dylan Gibbons. Gets some weight relief this time so he is right in contention. CINSAULT (3) has switched yards since scoring by 3.5 lengths at Kembla Grange over 6½f on July 26. One of the genuine hopes in the race. HOMERIC (4) broke his maiden three starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 1.2 lengths into third over 7f at this track. Can sneak into the finish again.
