HILLIER (9) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish ninth at the latest run over 6f in the G3 Black Opal Stakes at Canberra. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Randwick trial. Looks the one to beat. ESCARGOES (8) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 1.1 lengths into second over 6½f at this track. Well placed and a great chance to break through. HARRY'S EVIDENCE (4) started at 17/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 37 lengths at Randwick Kensington over 5¾f. This is a nice drop in grade so he will be hard to beat. SUNBURNT COUNTRY (10) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 6½f at this track. Has trialled two times leading into this. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
