FIGHTING MAGNUS (4) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in third over 1m1 1/2f at this track after being in contention on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. MALBORK CASTLE (2) was a winner over 1m2 1/2f at Hawkesbury last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by 0.8 lengths. Tom Sherry who has two wins when partnering stays on. Should be hard to stop. WHETU (3) was going okay prior to finishing 6 lengths back in seventh last start over 1m1 1/2f at this track. Benjamin Osmond has a solid record aboard this seven-year-old gelding so he should be given another chance. WHISKER TO WHISKER (5) turned in another moderate effort last start when 12 lengths from the winner in 13th over 1m4f at Rosehill. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
