EMPRESS OF JAPAN (6) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last time out over 7½f at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths. That followed a win at Goulburn at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. CHANGE THE DATE (8) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 1.3 lengths away in second over 7f38yards at Grafton. Bold showing expected. MIZELLA (3) ran very well when resuming then drifted back and was never a factor last time, beaten 5.5 lengths into tenth over 1m at Gosford. Better placed this time and can feature.
