Likely improver with strong prospects. THE PICCOLINO (2) recorded his first win last start over 6f at Quirindi, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Sure to prove tough to beat again with that win now under his belt. PRINCE KURO (8) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish a nose away in second over 6f at Queanbeyan. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. ITSZARBABY (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Kembla Grange, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth. No surprise to see her in the mix.
