LORD OF BISCAY (1) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by 3 lengths over 1m at Ballina. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three outings. Can measure up again. OVERRIDING (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when tenth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 7f at Hawkesbury. Has further improvement to come and can find peak form this time. MATCHA LATTE (4) is back from a break of five-and-a-half months. Only raced once last campaign which was a narrow defeat over 7½f in the G3 Cameron Handicap at this track. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. WELCOMETOBARBADOS (10) showed little early speed from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly to score a 1.1 lengths win over 6¼f at this track. Has a great record at this journey with three wins from four starts and must be respected.
