RARE MOON (6) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just a nose from the winner in second over 5f at Hawkesbury. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. RODEO DEALER (8) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fifth in a 5f contest at Port Macquarie two weeks ago after being prominent at the corner. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. CAPITAL DANCER (1) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at her latest appearance over 4½f at this track. Good effort to open last prep when in the money at this track over 4½f. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. BON ELTON (4) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in third over 4½f at Queanbeyan. Open to plenty of improvement.
