FRENCH MARINE (7) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 3.5 lengths at Canterbury over 6¼f. Has the talent to produce a better result. ROLLING MAGIC (1) is a progressive four-year-old gelding who hasn't raced since finishing third over 7½f in The Four Pillars at Rosehill on November 2. Fitter for recent trials. Meets easier opposition this time. Should be in the finish. BROADWAY BOUNCER (3) wasn't disgraced in city class last time when finishing fifth at Rosehill. Will find this easier than last start. Sure to be competitive. DORADUS (10) could only manage sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Another forward showing is anticipated.
