GAEILGE (1) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished sixth over 5½f in the G3 Golden Gift at Rosehill. Tuned up with a fourth in a recent trial at Rosehill. Looks the one to beat. MEDNYI (4) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 4 lengths back in sixth over 5f in the LR Debutante Stakes at Caulfield four months ago. Looks to be in good order after placing in a trial. Expected to feature. YOU'RE THE CHOICE (8) is a Farnan filly who cost AUD $ 260,000 (Magic Millions 2024 Gold Coast Yearling Sale) as a yearling and makes debut. Will be improved off a trial placing. Shapes well for this, can measure up at first outing. FROSTFIRE (3) is a well-related two-year-old colt lining up for the first time. By Zoustar from Fratianne who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. At his most recent trial was out of the placings at Rosehill. Beautifully drawn and is certainly worth considering.
