HIGHLAND MIRAGE (6) was well in the market last time out but could only manage eighth over 7¾f at Grafton, beaten 4 lengths. Will find this assignment a little tougher but he is a leading contender. EAGLESCLIFFE (1) was in contention on the turn and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6½f at Gunnedah, beaten 0.8 lengths. Ready to go one better. FUN IN TEXAS (5) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 6½f at Gunnedah after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
