RELEASE POINT (3) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Muswellbrook over 1m3/4f. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. GLORY START (8) finished fourth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m3/4f at Muswellbrook, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Steps up a level but she is worth serious consideration. AKKADIAN EMPEROR (1) hasn't raced since finishing eighth at Flemington and has been gelded in the break. Ran fifth in a trial at Canterbury over 5½f. Can return with a bold run.
