WAR COUNCIL (9) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fourth over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside four months ago. Rates highly and should take some beating. FRENCH RULER (10) turned in a good effort on debut three-and-a-half months ago when 2.25 lengths away in second at Canterbury over 6¼f. Has not been to the races since that outing. Fitter for a trial win at Canterbury. Has the inside gate and another bold showing is on the cards. OMNIC (8) is a maiden galloper resuming from a lay-off after finishing seventh over 6½f at Rosehill at the latest appearance on June 1. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Should be competitive. WILD SENSATION (15) settled well back when fresh from a layoff last start and never threatened when beaten 6 lengths into seventh over 5f at Wyong. Has plenty of upside and deserves consideration.
