DEION (2) stuck on well last start to finish third over 5½f at Coonamble after showing good early speed. Nicely placed to go a couple better. MISS CLAMOROSA (9) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at Gunnedah with success as public elect over 1m at Warren three weeks ago, getting home by 5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role again. NAVAL OFFICER (14) is in top form this campaign, including a head win over 1m at Parkes last time and making it two in a row. Rates well on recent form and looks a leading player again. ZENTI (3) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Tamworth but raced below expectations last time over 6¼f at Taree, finishing sixth and beaten 5 lengths. Nicely placed to bounce back.
